An appropriately lighted footpath alongside Tally Ho Road

The only local shop to the people of Shadoxhurst is the Post Office at Stubbs Cross. Many people walk to the PO – including the old and those with young families – along a busy and dangerous road.

From the end of the existing footpath close to Tally Ho Corner up to the start of the existing footpath close to Magpie Hall Lane.

By agreement with ABC and Kent Highways.

Limit housing development in the parish.

Preserve the rural character of the village.

Development should be concentrated on in-fill and small developments.

Traffic speeding through the village is dangerous to walkers and cyclists and is deleterious to the rural  character of the village.

Development of woodland walks in the neighbouring woods and fields.

Encourage residents and visitors to enjoy and thus value and respect the rural  environment.
