Village Walks

Walks around the footpaths in the village or elsewhere in East Kent take place on the third Sunday of each Month.
Most walks start (and usually stop) at the Village Hall.
We usually walk about 4 or 5 miles - we do have longer walks but only with prior agreement! We are an "older" group so we tend to walk at an average speed near to 2 or 2 1/2 miles an hour.
We always take one dog and often three or four, if we don't start the walk from the Village Hall then we will always offer other walkers a lift to the start point in one of our cars.

If you fancy a walk somewhere else in Kent - try this link www.walkinginkent.co.uk it is definitely worth a look.

Our May walk will take place on Sunday May 18th - 09.30 start at Shadoxhurst Village Hall.

We are building up a list of walks for others to enjoy - click this link Walks around Shadoxhurst.

We asked the walkers to line up for a picture and they split into two groups. One group was our regulars from Shadoxhurst and the others were a visiting group. It should be obvious which group is the visitors.
