SHADOXHURST PARISH PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE
                          Meeting: 17th January 2005

APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Tony Brady

Angela reported that Tony would not be able to attend at any time during February due to increased work commitments for the Parish Council but will continue to lend any support he can. He hopes to attend future meetings.

Cheryl opened the meeting with reference to the Village Plan for Boughton Aluph, a report of which was published in the local paper.

Lorraine offered to download information for both Boughton Aluph and Woodchurch Village Plans and bring it to the next meeting.

Angela mentioned information regarding an open day for people involved preparing Village Plans, she will chase up the contact.

Both Lorraine and Angela said they would arrange to meet Tony Brady to collect the questionnaires and other papers necessary to the Committee. Lorraine will chase up monies and arrange to collect receipts from Tony regarding the costs for advertisements.

Nick Green offered to publish and design the Village Plan and suggested an historic picture of the Village might be found and used as a frontispiece to the publication.

General discussion regarding various issues within the village and how to progress with producing statistics from the questionnaire. Mary Lowdell suggested that the Committee meets very soon to go through the questionnaires and finalise the report. This was unanimously agreed by everyone.

Lorraine brought up the subject of the Fete with a view to holding the event again in 2005. Although this is out of the remit for the Committee it was decided to hold future discussions on a Volunteers Group which would organise such events for the benefit of the village.
