MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Joan Kettle was to visit the shop, not Mary Lowdell as stated

MATTERS_ARISING
Tony Brady reported that forms for KRCC funding had been sent off, but doubtful any funding available before fete, maybe not until the New Year only £100 from the Recreation Committee. Concern was expressed about late production of literature and should we have a contingency plan? It was agreed that Nick Hayward would visit Nick Green regards literature and Angela Couling would email him.

QUESTIONNAIRE EVENT (QE)
General discussion about Ashford expansion and its impact on Shadoxhurst and the community assessment.

Questionnaire to consist of: 6 headings, space for comments. Name; phone number and with a number for the prize draw.

Lorraine Hutchins presented an application form, to open an account with Nationwide and would arrange to put the £100 into the account when opened.

Tony Brady said that the Community Grants Fund means that the Committee must keep accurate records as funding is retrospective and subject only to 50% of all funding.

Committee then adjourned to re-convene at the Kings Head to meet with Ian the licensee, regarding his plans for the day. Ian was very supportive of the fete, and hopes to have seven stalls, a bungee run and rodeo bull to attract villagers.

It was agreed by all that if the day was a success; it could lead to an annual fete in the village.
