MATTERS_ARISING
Cheryl Lander said that letters are now ready to go to other parish plan producers.

QUESTIONNAIRE EVENT (QE)
Joan Kettle will approach Stubbs Cross shop to ask if they will display ‘ideas sheet’, and ensure a Bowls short mat presence at the QE.
General discussion around Boot Fair and Fete, and the best way to approach villagers with the questionnaire.

Tony Brady is still chasing map of Shadhoxhurst. He will also contact Victoria Lawson (Kent RCC) to get forms for funding applications.

Cheryl Lander to contact Michelle Byrne (ABC) regards funding.

Susie Tigwell will bring the brass band at a cost of approximately £120.00

Committee had to defer discussion of questionnaire until Nick Hayward is able to produce it.

Discussion of expenses. Advertising needs to be submitted before 23^rd August. Tony will contact Parish magazine. No charge for bouncy castle or marquee. Name badges, Post-it notes and possibly pens to be donated. Cheryl raised the question of opening a bank account, and Treasurer Lorraine Hutchins offered to obtain a mandate to open an account with Nationwide.

Tony Brady to do the printing of posters with Nick Hayward and Nick Green providing the designs.

Event to run 12-5pm. A free dinner at The King’s Head will be offered to the winner of a draw of completed questionnaires.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Next meeting will incorporate a ‘dry-run’ of 5^th September and afterwards, the group will visit the King’s Head to introduce themselves
