Risk Assessment/Risk Inspection/ROSPA Report

Any trees that are the responsibility of the Parish Council should be inspected by

a professional tree surgeon every 3 years.  Following bad weather a member of the council

should check all the trees for broken branches etc.

Mr Hollands reported that we only have responsibility for the trees in the Recreation Field

and on The Green.  They are all immature at the moment and so there is unlikely to

be a problem with them.

The Clerk was asked to arrange for ROSPA to undertake their usual inspection of the play

area.

Newsletter

Miss Smith asked whether parishioners could be reminded to use the recycling bins

correctly, in the next issue.  Over the past few weeks bottles have been put in the paper bin

and a lot of  unpleasant items were dumped around the bins which she and other councillors have had to clear up.

She asked whether the council wanted anything particular tabled at the forthcoming

attending the Workshop.  The main issue is that we do not want any large developments

         in Shadoxhurst.

KCC have to provide another 20 Gypsy Sites in Kent before 2016.
