APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
An Apology for Absence was received from Borough Councillors, Mrs A Hicks,
Mr P Davison and County Councillor Mr M Angell

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
M Buss and Mr Howe declared a personal interest in matters pertaining to
Shadoxhurst Recreation Committee.

Councillors are reminded that they should update their Declarations of Interest with
the Monitoring Officer if necessary.

There meeting was open to the Members of the Public present from 7.35 7.50 for
questions and comment.

ACCEPTANCE
OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes 320 of the previous meeting were accepted and it was unanimously agreed
that Mr Hollands should sign them.

Resolution: Councillors unanimously agreed to pay the
above accounts.
Insurance
Mr Hollands
confirmed that all the Insurance Documentation is in order.
Newsletter
Resolution: It was unanimously agreed to increase the
Clerks hours to 6 per week in order to allow her time to produce the Parish
Newsletter. The matter of printing the
publication will be discussed again at a future meeting.

Appearance of Village
The Clerk purchased the plaques and Mr Buss
will arrange for them to be put onto the planters

Area
We have been awarded a
grant for £1773 towards the cost of a new slide, from our

The Recreation Committee
has agreed to pay up to 50% of the cost.
Resolution: As the slide needs to be installed by the end
of March to enable us to secure the grant from Councillor Angell, the Clerk was
asked to try and obtain a third quote and contact councillors during the month
in order that a decision can be made. In
the event that a third grant is not forthcoming, Councillors agreed that the Clerk
should to accept the quote for £6321.

Matters Arising from the Round

Mrs Holman reported that she met with 2

It was reported that a 4 x 4 had demolished the bus shelter on the corner of Farley Close.
