Organisers for gen rides will be chosen on the day of the ride, all people wishing to organise a ride should be sure they have registered as such contact R Burchett for details.(01303 267969). Distances of rides will depend on riders present and as such all rides are suitable for those unsure of abilities, on rides where there are two groups of rider abilities then the possibility exists for different routes to the same destination, meeting for lunch for example. On competitions riders are asked to either take part, come to the start or volunteer to assist as a marshal.  

We do not place distances on the ordinary rides we measure them in smiles not  miles.

There are annual trophies to be won for taking part and involving yourself in the competitions.

We are as always looking for people to take over the running of the club, one of the consequences of this apathy by some is that the choice and quantity of rides and competitions gets reduced …… its up to.

ENTRY FEES:  £5 on most events with an additional £2.00 for temp AUK membership for non AUK/CTC members. Plus a late entry charge of £1.

We advise ALL entries to be sent in advance. IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING ANY DISTANCE TO A START PHONE PRIOR TO CHECK FOR ANY CHANGES, AND SO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTMENT. And on all events your membership card makes life easier. As does your D.O.B.  ANNUAL TROPHIES AVAILABLE: SOUTH KENT TOURIST COMPETITION from January to December. Open to South Kent D.A.  SOUTH KENT ACTION TROPHY from January to December. Open to South Kent DA members. At the moment the Best  All Round competition has been suspended until 2011 owing to lack of interest. MARSHAL TROPHY from January to December. For full details of competition please contact us.
